Dear Father. America does not spend much on foreign aid in Ireland.

It does spend a ton on foreign aid in Israel and although it is rarely noted in the media (Gee, I can't image why) all of that Foreign Aid has not done much to secure the blessings of religious liberty in Israel, but , I suppose any day now the ecumenists in the Vatican will have something to aboutt he abuses routinely committed by our Judeo-Christian allies.

Just imagine, for instance, if Christians controlled an area on earth and did not permit Jews to access a synagogue for religious services that area.

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 (WAFA) – The Higher Presidential Committee for the Follow-up of Church Affairs in Palestine today called on the Palestinian Christians to participate in large numbers in the Holy Light activities on Saturday in Jerusalem despite the Israeli occupation measures.

It condemned in a statement issued by its chairman, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ramzi Khoury, the obstacles and restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation government on the Holy City with the approach of Holy Light events, saying that freedom of worship is a right and no one must wait for permission from anyone to practice their religious rituals in the mosques and churches and in the capital of Palestine, occupied Jerusalem.

It expressed its support for the position of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem and Patriarch Theophilos III, as well as representatives of the Status Quo Committee of the churches for rejecting the decision by the Israeli police to place barriers throughout the Old City of Jerusalem to prevent Christian pilgrims from attending the Holy Light ceremonies in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

The Committee stressed that the Israeli repressive policies against the Palestinians and restricting their freedom of worship is a flagrant violation of international laws and covenants that guarantee the practice of religious rituals without any restrictions, pointing out that the Israeli occupation authorities impose unreasonable, unjustified and unprecedented restrictions on access to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

It pointed out that Israel has imposed restrictions on the entry of worshipers to Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, and has reduced the number of permits for people in the West Bank and canceled others for residents of the Gaza Strip wishing to participate in the holidays, in addition to the procedures imposed on Holy Light Saturday in the Holy City, obstructing the access of worshipers to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher while providing protection for settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform religious rituals.

The committee called on the local churches to expose all Israeli practices and the restrictions they are subjected to and called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for the crimes it is committing against the Palestinian people, especially its transgression of international norms and legitimacy.

I'm sure Our Pope - who invited the World Jewish Congress to open an office in the Vatican - and who speaks about how religious liberty and ecumenical action will lead to peace - will have something to say about this in a day or so...

There is nothing authentic about Joe Biden.

His Irish trip is a joke. Especially since he is of mostly French and English extraction (Sorry.)

I am sick of his hoary Kennedy impersonation. It's the longest-running performance since Agatha Christie's MOUSETRAP.

I have watched his biography constantly being revised, with previous editions disappearing from the internet. It's like having a subscription to The Great Soviet Encyclopedia.

What's next? A Ukrainian grandmother?

I suspect they intended the first of the two meanings that Oxford Languages give on the web:

1. to a great degree; extremely or unusually.
"Michele was incredibly brave"

2. used to introduce a statement that is hard to believe; strangely.
"incredibly, he was still alive

Journalists, so called, are nothing more than apparatchiks for the Empire of Lies.

I think that this is an oxymoronic way of saying 'very frank', but with seven syllables rather than three...

Or was it authentically incredible?

Sleepy Joe wears his 'Irishness' like his Catholicism, trotting it out when it is opportune as in: when there's an election coming up. Both are entirely fake and are mere Photo Ops. His constant pro-abortion stances belie his claims to be a 'faithful' Catholic.

It annoys me how Ireland fawns on US presidents, always looking for ways to 'claim' them as Irish. There is nothing about Biden to be proud of - for Irish people or Americans.

America is full of minorities of foreign origin - e.g. millions from Germany and Mexico, but American presidents do not go to Germany and Mexico and grandstand to one political faction, nor do they demand that Germany and Mexico change their national politics to please the US and its electioneering politicians.

Biden has just killed off any remaining illusion about the 'Special Relationship'.
