Early this Good Friday morning, Dr Geoffrey Kirk, priest, theologian, wit, satirist, blogger, bon viveur, slipped away into the Eternal Pasch. Tu, qui cuncta scis et vales, Qui nos pascis hic mortales: Tuos ibi commensales, Coheredes et sodales Fac sanctorum civium.

Sad news indeed. Fr Kirk was, among other things, the scourge of cant and a doughty defender of the Truth. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
thank you for letting us know, Father. we have had him in our prayers these last months. may he find rest in the peace of Christ.
Requiescat in pace. I have, as I am sure have many, been praying for him.
Let the light of Thy Face shine on him, O Lord. Show him Thy Face and he will be saved.
Very sad but not surprising. May he rest in peace and rise in glory
thank you for letting us know, Dr Kirk has been missed very much these past few months. May he rest in peace.
Si monumentum requiris, perlégitō:
May light eternal shine upon him.
+May he Rest in Peace!
Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.
Msgr Harry Entwistle
A bonny fighter indeed. May he now rest in peace.
Fr. Hunwicke -
I am sorry for the loss of your good friend, and a great priest. May St. Michael defend his soul, and choirs of angels sing him to heaven, and bring him to see the face of his Savior, our King.
I will offer a Mass for the happy repose of his soul.
May his life may be one of merriment with the Risen Lord and the saints.
May he enjoy merriment with the Lord Jesus and the Saints.
