Thank You ...

... to Almighty God for giving me the possibility ...even if only for a few more moments  ... to serve Him within the Love which He so generously shares with me.

And Thank You to everybody who, over the last two or three weeks, has prayed for me. I am grateful, immensely, to all of you.

I was yanked off to hospital very suddenly; hence, I has no opportunity to revise, reconsider, or correct the pieces I had drafted. Apologies for my many inaccuracies and incoherences!

God  bless you all.

I have looked through your comments, and enabled most of them!.

Dear Father, thank you for the update. Will continue praying for your health and well being. Thank you for your faithful witness; your love of the Lord.

We have had you in our daily prayers, Father, and are relieved to see you back 'in person' on your blog. We hope that you will take things easy, as they say, while you return to full health.

So happy you have by God's grace recovered. Like many of my fellow parishioners in your "Blogger Parish," I prayed for you each day at the Meménto, Dómine, at the 5.45 am Mass. Thank God for your recovery.

Thank you Jesus, for restoring to us our excellent Fr. Hunwicke! Thanks be to God for this.
Fr. Hunwicke, if we must endure this vale of tears, kindly do not try to "sneak out" early. If you do try we will pray harder and God will surely have pity on us and you will find yourself back in your office Monday morning saying what happened. :)
In all seriousness it is wonderful you are feeling better. Thank you Lord.

Dear Father Hunwicke:

You have been in my prayers since I learned about a week ago from "New Liturgical Movement" of your hospitalization. Very happy to see that you are back. May God bless you and keep you with us for many years to come: you are sorely needed.

I prayed for you and yes, you are welcome.

That being said, although I prayed for you, I like praying, and, unless I am a lot more ignorant than I think I am - which is possible - I think, probably correctly, that it is something beyond the capability of the greatest of the earthly philosophers to answer this simple question ---- why should someone thank me for praying for them when I found comfort and joy in praying for them?
