Perhaps PF needs to re-read Isaiah 22 and remember that he is merely the vicar of Christ chosen as a caretaker to attend to day to day business while the Master is away, due to return at some date when He is least expected.
The Bishops of Rome were in earlier days styled Vicar of Peter.........
