The way things appear may vary from system to system, but unfortunately there is no search box apparent in Chrome or Firefox on a Windows machine, at the top right or anywhere else on the screen. I just go to Google and put the relevant term in together with your name.

I'm using Chrome on a Windows machine and I've got a search box. It's in the top left hand corner. It doesn't say Search, but there's a magnifying glass symbol, so it's a search box.
You may have to clear the banner that says "this site uses cookies" etc to see the box.
Thanks, but there's nothing there either, even without the cookie message overlay. There's the orange title banner with just "Fr Hunwicke's Mutual Enrichment", and below that a column on the left with "Fr John Hunwicke", portrait and bio, then subheadings and links; and a broad column on the right with the recent blog posts. That' all folks. No box. No magnifying glass. There's nothing in the html source for the page, so it isn't being served on my laptop for some reason.
Well what a coincidence - over at The Remnant they're getting all emotive about this particular point right now!!
There's definitely a search box in Chrome, in the blue bar right above the orange header. I thought that searched everything on blogger, not just this blog, but apparently it DOES just search this site.
Once just isn't enough for those folks over at The Remnant - they're attacking clerical marriage again by linking it to Amoris Laetitia.
There is no Search Box if you have any ad blockers enabled in your browser. If you disable ad blockers you will find the search bar that Fr. Hunwicke keeps mentioning.
In fact, Fr. Hunwicke, I'd suggest that this may be a large reason why people do not use the Search Box. Since ad blockers are "baked in" to most browsers now, it is likely that a large portion of your readership will not see the illusive creature.
